Role summary: Drives overall merchandise strategy and leads the development of new brands and categories. This role partners closely with the Merchandise Strategy Lead to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and provide clear development direction to each division/category team. Responsibilities: Strategy Support: Support wide merchandise strategy through data-driven analysis and insight generation. Growth Opportunities: Identify growth opportunities across divisions and categories (new brands, categories, white spaces). Strategic Roadmaps: Develop strategic recommendations and development roadmaps for division/category teams. Insight Pipeline: Build insight pipelines from overseas retail best practices, online trends, and latest product/brand developments. Requirements: Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to translate data into clear business insights and actionable plans. Market Sensing: Comfortable with trend research, benchmark studies, and fast learning. Clear Communication: Able to structure and present recommendations concisely. Originally posted on Himalayas
