About this role
Who You Are: You are a systems-savvy financial leader with experience across planning, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis, and a track record of turning financial data into recommendations that move the business forward. You believe FP&A exists to help the business improve its financial performance, not just report on it. You are naturally curious and love to dig into the data to understand what’s driving the business. You balance a deep understanding of the details with a clear vision of the bigger picture. You thrive in fast-paced settings, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and process-building. You’re passionate about translating financial data into actionable insights and eager to make an impact in a dynamic, growing company. The Task At Hand: As Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will own core planning and forecasting cycles, including annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly reforecasts, and risk and opportunity tracking. You will be the connective tissue between corporate FP&A, Operations Finance, and Commercial Finance, building and running the models and project-managing the calendar. You will translate results into management reporting, variance bridges, and margin and mix analysis that drive action, not just visibility. You will also help modernize how the team works by building automated workflows, defining consistent KPIs and model logic, and tightening the process calendar as OFarm scales as a public company. In This Role, You Will: Run monthly and quarterly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts, validating forecast assumptions and driving accountability across business partners and cost center owners. Deliver management reporting that gives leadership a timely, accurate, headline view of how the business is performing against the metrics that matter, using financial storytelling to make the numbers clear and compelling. Lead variance analysis that isolates the operational drivers behind results, separating volume, mix, timing, and rate impacts to explain what moved and why. Conduct margin and mix analysis to surface what’s driving Gross Profit and EBITDA performance, and where the business has room to improve. Track risks and opportunities across the business, running scenario analysis to quantify exposure and upside. Track initiatives and EBITDA levers that leadership can act on to proactively manage financial performance. Drive the annual planning process, including maintaining & improving the forecast model in Pigment, and setting the planning templates, assumptions and drivers that anchor the process. Own KPI definitions and consistent reporting for Executive Business Reviews. Steer the FP&A process calendar, setting and enforcing deadlines across planning and forecasting cycles. Design and build automated workflows, including with tools like Claude Cowork, that reduce manual work and improve the speed and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis. Bring business and financial context to the BI/Analytics, IT Development, and EPM development teams, ensuring what gets built serves how the business plans & reports. Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations Finance, Commercial Finance, and BI/Analytics to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems. In This Role, You’ll Bring With You: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting & analysis. Strong systems thinking. Able to design scalable models and workflows in Pigment and beyond. Advanced proficiency in Excel is assumed, and knowing when a spreadsheet is the wrong tool. Uses AI tools (e.g. Claude CoWork) as a working partner to build repeatable workflows, and speed up reporting & analysis. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to translate data into a clear point of view. Hands-on experience with an EPM/FP&A platform. Pigm
