CLINICAL DIRECTOR Department: Anti-Trafficking JOB SUMMARY The Clinical Director provides clinical oversight to all aspects of clinical services provided by the One More Child Clinicians. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS Provide clinical oversight to all clinicians and direct oversight to assigned clinicians. Assist with the expansion of clinical/behavioral health services throughout all program areas as well as throughout the United States. Assume responsibility for ensuring all clinical services billed are in alignment with Medicaid/insurance requirements. Ensure clinical procedures/policies and practices align with COA and Medicaid requirements. Complete/approve documentation as required by funding entities, courts, and referral sources . Ensure the delivery of all aspects of clinical services including clinical quality management, and implementation of evidence-based treatments, testing/assessment, clinical outcomes initiatives, compliance with funding entities and other regulatory requirements. Support clinicians in crisis intervention care in the immediate needs of victims as needed. Assist Clinicians in assessing clients and developing/implementing individual clinical treatment plans and providing oversight as to progress and goal attainment of clinical treatment plans. Provide unlicensed clinicians with the clinical supervision required for licensure (in alignment with applicable state laws/guidelines/requirements). Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment. Facilitate training for Clinicians and other OMC staff to ensure clients are receiving trauma-informed services. Provide consultation to clinical staff and guidance in implementing evidence-based modalities including but not limited to TF-CBT, DBT, CT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR. Stay current on emerging research in best practices and evidence-based practices specifically in serving populations who have experienced complex trauma and commercial sexual exploitation. Collaborate with the other OMC Program Executive Directors to coordinate clinical services within the different program areas and to facilitate a positive and collaborative working environment. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a master’s degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Counseling such as: Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Experience with clients who have experienced complex trauma including sexual abuse and/ or sexual exploitation. Experience supervising clinical staff. Florida licensure as LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida for registered interns seeking licensure as clinical social workers, mental health counselors, and marriage and family therapists. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Licensure as LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC in the states of North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio and Texas (or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment) Florida Medicaid Provider Number (or willingness to obtain) NPI / CAQH Number (or willingness to obtain) Comprehensive understanding and experience in providing direct care and coordinated services to trauma victims specific to CSEC and CSE young adults. Commitment to vulnerable individuals and families who have experienced trauma. Demonstrate a solid understanding of child welfare issues to include trauma-informed care best practices and its implementation as well as cultural competency. Comprehensive understanding and experience in providing direct care and coordinated services to trauma victims. Ability to build effective professional working relationships internally and externally. Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
